Authentic Christianity--living life the way Jesus
did, valuing love and acceptance of others,
experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit, caring for the poor, and working for justice in the world around us.

A Culture of Community -- the church started out
as a close-knit group who accepted outsiders as
one of the famiy, broke bread together, shared
as they had needs, and encouraged one another.
Connecting with others is vital to our lives.

Lifetime Transformation -- growing in our lives
modeled on Jesus' example is a lifetime process of
changing that involves honesty, accountability,
compassion, someone to believe in you, self-awareness, and patience. We believe this takes place best within a community.

An Atmosphere of Prayer & Worship -- a life of faith is more than believing a creed; it's experiencing the presence of God and being changed by it; it's having times of meditation and devotion before God each day and with others in community gatherings; it's praying for one another and receiving prayer from others. Jesus said the house of God would be known as a house of prayer.
